28mm Medieval Jousting Terrain

Over the coming months we will be adding a series of articles about Crossed Lances gaming.

Here at Sally 4th, we are very, very excited about this game and as gamers and hobbyists ourselves we are planning to paint all of the miniatures in the range, assemble and paint the terrain and hold some fantastic tournaments. As we progress with this project we will be posting articles on all of those aspects of the Crossed Lances hobby here, to share with you.

First up, we had a lot of questions at Vapnartak on how we had achieved the lovely wood effect on our jousting scenery, so we will start with an article covering the no-fuss Sally 4th wood technique.

Secondly I've started painting my first pair on knights to give battle in the Lists... No other than Edward Longshanks and William Wallace, to joist perhaps for the future of Scottish Independance, so look out for the first painting guide shortly.
