Zombie Apocalypse is such a popular gaming genre. I’ve played many, many ‘The Walking Dead’ style games set in modern day USA, but there are lot’s more options out there so a couple of weeks ago I put together a scenario that could be played with a handful of historical Roman and Ancient German miniatures plus a dozen or so Zombies! I played the game solo, although it works just as well as a two player game.

The ‘Roman Zombies’ that feature in the game were made using the Wargames Atlantic Pulp Zombies Kit. This is a must have kit because as well as generic zombies, Wargames Atlantic have included heads to make Roman, Viking, Old West, Napoleonic, WW1 and WW2 Zombies… there are nearly 100 heads on every sprue!
