If you recall, and as will be explained in the supplemental later this year, the Impkins are CREATED by the powerful sorceress Mother Ophelia– in fact –EVERYTHING on Pingaree island was created by Mother Ophelia. It is truly she that rules– with love and an iron fist. Of course her charges love her and are devoted, even unto death to her.
