Adelaide Hall – Jazz Performer

£8.00

Adelaide Hall was an established American singer & performer in England when WW2 began. She joined ENSA & toured Europe entertaining troops, through deadly warzones.

“At one London performance , the Luftwaffe attacked overhead dropping bombs and, ‘even though we could hear bombs exploding outside the theatre, we carried on … I had sung 54 songs until the all-clear sounded at 3:45 a.m. in the morning!”
One miniature represents her in her ENSA (Entertainments National Service Association ) uniform, the other is her performing on stage.
The pack consists of 2 miniatures, cast in high quality pewter, sculpted by Alan Marsh. 28mm scale, single piece and fit great with all popular WW2 ranges.

These miniatures work perfectly in both historical settings but also pulp scenarios such as Operation Sea Lion.
