Barbarossa, Scourge of the Seas

Barborossa, (Italian: “Redbeard”) byname of Khayr al-Dīn, original name Khiḍr, (died 1546), Barbary pirate and later admiral of the Ottoman fleet, by whose initiative Algeria and Tunisia became part of the Ottoman Empire.

One fine scale, 28mm miniature, exquisitely sculpted by Iain Lovecraft and available now as a traditionally cast metal collectors / gaming miniature.
